Do your civic duty. Quit enjoying democracy without doing your part.

You can go online and reschedule with no questions asked. You're alllowed to reschedule twice.

At least that's how it is here in Houston.

call them up and tell them what is going on...be ready to bring in airline & hotel booking proof...

As others have said, give them a call and be prepared to show proof of your vacation. They'll probably let you move it.

As far as serving jury duty, I suggest doing it. We need more people in those positions that have some damn sense.

Was the notice sent via regular mail? You can disregard if so Bc they can't prove you received it.

Yes, you will need to provide proof of the trip. They also told me the next time I was selected I would not be able to get out of it.
