Mostly centers on 2 plays at the plate. One where UCLA player was called out (honestly,I think she was safe) and where LSU was awarded a run due to "catcher obstruction."

I didn't see the UCLA player getting called out, but I thought ump blew the obstruction call.

We also going to forget the umps screwing lsu on multiple outs throughout the game, that likely cost lsu 1-2 runs.

I agree the first call with Garcia was wrong but the 2nd one was correct. She was parked right in the middle of the base path as she was sliding in. She was on her damn needs spread out across the base path before the ball even got to her

Not to mention Alli Walljasper worked with a worse strike zone. So they can cut the bullshite. Lsu has seen its share of questionable calls all go again them more times than not

ESPN and UCLA can go F themselves.

Saw....if the calls would have blah blah blah then UCLA would have won....I absolutely despise this line of thought/analysis...can't prove an unknown...they have no idea what would have transpired.

Turned it off...don't have time for pre-school commentary

I think the blocking call was right. She didn't have to block the plate

Both calls could have gone either way though, I understand their frustration

Agree completely with everything you said. Makes me nervous though, with all the bitching going on, that the umps will think they have to make it up against the Tigers in the next game.

Honestly her arse was parked right in front of the plate. Good call. This rule was actually implemented to protect the helpless catchers. Back in the day I saw many catchers get destroyed by the runner aka Buster Posey.

They shouldn't have left the game up to the officials. LSU has learned that too many times.

I thought both calls were correct, actually.

The girls foot was ALMOST on the plate when she was tagged on the hip. That doesn't count. Sorry.

And as stated by the announcer, if she's blocking the base path waiting on the throw, it's obstruction.

Eff UCLA, ESPN, etc.

ETA: Oh, and on the play at second, our player was safe.
GEAUX TIGERS!
