Did everyone's homeowner's insurance go up a lot in BR?

My dad still gets statements from his previous company he had insured his mobile home with in BR(he's not sure why cause he cancelled the policy and they know he no longer lives in BR nor owns that home anymore).

If he still lived in BR..his homeowner's policy on a 3/2 mobile home (like 80x16 feet I think) would be $1900 a year(not including flood insurance).

Bought my house for 200k a year and a half ago. An extremely comparable house a few down from mine just sold in a day for 219k.

Bought mine 3 years ago for 280k, had my realtor pull comps and said it could sell in the 300-305k range now. Near Santa Maria on the Ascension side of Manchac.

Sold our high-and-dry home in Lake at White Oak in Nov...about 20% above pre-flood appraisal.

Isn't CCL (the club) about to shut down? Not much interest anymore I understand.

Seems kinda silly to be live in CCL and not be a member.

That's what I've heard from numerous people. They apparently aren't even serving lunch a few days a week. The club is in poor financial health from what I understand.
