Like I said earlier-with what they pulled off this season the series can't last more than one more season.

Obviously everyone should acknowledge the unlikelihood of a lot of this being pulled off, but too realistic of legislation and politics sounds like the ultimate snooze fest

Conway is a big baby. If his wife left him he's the kind of guy that would murder her and his kids

Claire should have done that thing she did to that guy last season. Whenever it was a scene with just those two my attention started to wander.

True, but she hadn't said a word since that final scene. Not to mention they've teased it throughout Season 5

Season 5 was a very poor watch.

Government corruption(didn't see that coming), election manipulation and power jockeying thats been done 44 times throughout the show. Throw in a forced gay makeout by Spacey and you get season 5. #Bitter

That has to be the harshest thing I've ever heard

I just want a woman to love me the way Doug loves Francis. Also why they have to kill every piece of fine arse?

I fast forwarded until I saw what I think might be interesting scenes. This show was best when it was playful like the original HoC (much better btw). It's dark turn is so unbelievable and counter D.C. compared to Veep which actually depicts the city much better though it's comedy.

Season 1 & 2 were worth watching. I can't even remember season 4 it was so unmemorable.

the biggest problem i have with the show is that there never seems to be any weight given to public opinion or outcry regarding some of the things that happen.

I think it's intentional. It builds on the idea that public opinion isn't important to any of them.

This series has always been a very slow burn. I'm 10 episodes in, and I'll admit the first few weren't much fun, but I'm really enjoying it now.
