Very positive Baywatch review

Saw it last night, and I thought it was a very fun and funny movie.
For the critics calling it dumb and low brow, I somewhat question if those people are slow or werent paying attention. There was a ton of very subtle witty humor throughout the movie. It wasnt simply gag lines that I would associate with a simple minded comedy.
Interested to see if anyone else feels the same way

Haven't seen it, will wait for a good online release but it's getting 79% from the audience on ROtten Tomatoes and 19% from the critics. That sounds about right for that type of movie.

I agree. Didn't go in expecting The Godfather. It was a very funny movie that made me laugh.
And the scenery wasn't bad either.

I haven't seen it yet, but it's how I feel about it now and I'm willing to bet I will agree after seeing it.
The clips all look funny? Not GOAT comedy funny, but funny.

Baywatch Bombs at the Box Office

The R-rated "Baywatch," meanwhile, is sinking like a rock. The critically derided update of the 1990s TV show earned only $18.1 million over the weekend against a nearly $70 million price tag. Including Thursday earnings, the film is projected to collect $26.6 million by the close of Memorial Day.

Why did they hide Alexandra Daddario's tit's behind the bathing suit jacket?
LOLWUT? They beat the jokes over your head. Nothing subtle about them. Why did the movie have so much green screen? The boat on fire was 100% CGI.

I thought it was kind of fun but not worth seeing in the theater. There really wasn't a single joke that you could leave the theater with and then tell your friends about. It was all kind of dumb humor - so if that's the knock on it by reviewers I probably agree with the criticism.
It was also kind of strangely sex free for a movie based on a tit currency television empire - and seemingly marketed with the idea it would be a raunchy sex comedy. The only sex was probably a dead guys cock and balls being used for gross out humor.
