Are podcasts becoming more liberal?

I've been listening to a podcast about philosophy. The host (a pasty white guy) went through Western philosophy very matter-of-factly. But, when I got to the episode about Islamic philosophy he got noticeably more giddy and started off by saying "This episode is simply about one thing: Truth" I immediately deleted the podcast. I wonder how many Muslim "refugees" he's helped shelter?

Everything is becoming more liberal. Get used to it. It's called progress

Good job being open minded.

So you didn't even listen to it to make an accurate judgement?

Stop treating yourself like a victim

So you listened to him all these other times and you thought he was spot on. But, he says Islam and you shite yourself? Stop living in an echo chamber. If he offered rational ideas, maybe give him a chance? You don't have to agree with everything someone says.

I can't find many that are not liberal..... I spend time traveling so I enjoy when I find a good one.

Islam and philosophy are like oil and water, so I'm not sure I blame you. I studied Islam in college and even the most liberal profs were unkind to it, and rightfully so.
Also, to the genius who equates any sort of intellectual "tolerance" (read, acceptance these days) to liberalism to progress: please produce some exhibits.

No Agenda
Rogan
Hardcore (pretty neutral history)
And even Marc Maron steers pretty clear of politics, mostly these days.
Liar City is usually good and apolitical also.
I've stopped listening to TAL and most of the NPR stuff just because it mostly sucks now.
Radiolab has been pretty meh but I wouldn't call it "liberal"
Their More Perfect series on the USSC is good.
Just research, read and think as independently as you can and you'll survive the propaganda. It'll make you stronger.

More liberal is not progress, feelings and emotions are taking over facts. That is not progress, that is regression.

It depends on what is meant by Islamic philosophy. If you are talking about medieval Avicenna and his Neoplatonism, or the rejections it by Al-Ghazali and others, or any number of early conversations in early Islam, then I disagree. I even think the philosophical underpinnings of the Islamic revival are very interesting. But it isn't really compatible with philosophy post-Cartesian modernism.

Knowledge is liberal.

Nothing screams Progress quite like warmed- over 19th Century Marxism, endless resentment, repression of Free Speech and political street violence.

Is that what you call a man tucking his wiener between his legs and getting awarded woman of the year?

So basically they are following down the path the Republican party has been on for years now?
In that I agree.
