They've got a tough call on Fort Sumter. It was Union, then Confederate, then Union again. Either way, it's a part of history and history is bad to the progressives.

I found this pic on twitter. It is from Lee Circle looking towards Canal St in the 1920's. Notice the shadow of the monument. Also notice the YMCA on the right side which is still there only a new building.
