A&M vs. Texas, half my family are A&M grads. I never had a choice.

Red River Rivalry.

I will never forget this call from Keith Jackson:

"HE'S A SPEEEDSTERRR...AND HE'S LOOOONG GOONE...80 YERDS.

Thank you god I'm not the only one who loved and misses this rivalry. WVU-Pitt was one of my all time favorite games to watch.

Favorite Tennessee game to watch every year is the Georgia game.

Favorite game to watch every year that doesn't involve my favorite team is Ohio State vs. Michigan

Obviously Ohio State / Michigan for me. Completely different thought process compared to now. Went into those games expecting to lose because Cooper was a moron. I remember Tressel going to AA and winning his first year. It felt like they won a National Championship.

Never know if you're going to get another win this season.

When I first got into college football...there was ONE game that totally dominated the college football landscape...

FSU-Miami

So, it would have to be that.

The games were a national event for college football fans.

And they used to play it so early in the season, like early October when everyone else was still playing cupcakes...and you knew one team would get knocked out of the title race in early October.

Michigan and Ohio State... from 1969 to 1980 that game meant he big ten champ every year.. and ABC would follow yhstbgame with UCLA-USC and that game seemed to have an effect on who went to the rose bowl from the PAC-8.

That 1992 FSU team (Wide Right 2) finished #2 in the nation...and Miami finished #3.

Miami's lone loss was to #1 Bama in the Sugar Bowl...FSU's lone loss was to Miami.

That's the polls for you.
