Just saying but no one has ever hacked the cash in my pocket that I use to pay for things in everyday life away from the house.

I had my debit card number stolen when I was right out of college. It was a pain in the arse to get some of the money back. I only use my credit card now. It just makes too much sense. They have better fraud protection and the cash back and points offered make it a no-brainer.

Make a police report. BRPD will put it's best detectives on the case and you'll get justice.

Nothing else for you to do. I think it is up to Chase at this point. Once they give you your money back, technically Chase becomes the "victim." I doubt they will go after the guy over a couple of hundred bucks; much easier for them to write it off.

If you know who did it, and decide to press charges, the police will pursue it.

My debit card was skimmed at a gas station last week. The fricking assholes bought random shite in Florida and Georgia. Luckily my bank caught on quick and canceled the card. Skimmers are getting really common now.

Years ago my ex had her number stolen and a bunch of stuff purchased online. I called every one of them and they wouldn't give me details except the nike guy. He gave me the address where the items were being shipped too and everything. Needless to say after a little cross referencing one of her co workers got arrested. Her co worker snooped in his purse and wrote down the number.

I always keep a debit card with me. I probably use it once every other month to pull out cash for whatever reason
