Looking into this to possibly go check out and have a few drinks or some apps before the game next weekend.
I found a place called "Biggio's" obviously named after the HOF'er..but looks new. Looks like Mannings, wondering how the atmosphere would be. Also at the same time we will have our baseball team with us ( 9 year olds) So looking for kid friendly environment.

Biggies is new and in a higher end hotel near the park. Expensive but fairly kid friendly.
Most of the other places near the park are not great for kids.

Lucky's right next to the soccer stadium! Not to mention you can usually find super cheap (if not free) parking spots behind it, and they run a shuttle to and from the stadium.

Should be be burned to the ground. The conservatory is a great spot to hit now. Just a short walk to the stadium.

Nevermind, you said kid friendly.
Go early, take the kids to Torchy's.

the Conservatory is a cool spot about 4 blocks from the stadium
8th wonder beer is meh but it is right by the stadium. Saint Arnolds is a quick uber, kid friendly as a brewery will get and food is good.

So you are taking the whole 9 year old baseball team to eat before the game? Pretty much anywhere is cool for a couple kids but I don't know about a whole team.

Biggio's burger was pretty good but you will pay for it. They are two bars behind home plate, can't think of the names

Jackson Street BBQ is right next to the stadium... they have a kiosk inside by the Crawford Boxes too. The BBQ is on point.

Wasn't there a place with conference room/office chairs in it? Or are these the same place? FWIW the only cool thing about it was the chairs.

I have done the flying saucer before

According to this thread you may want to wait until you get into the stadium to eat.

They also have a Torchy's tacos.
