Vehemently agree! Sure we can 'what if it', etc, but your assessment is spot on!

-Run the ball, kick a FG, beat WISC
-Better clock management, you have 1 sec left for winning TD vs AUB
-Guice hits designed hole for running play, he walks into endzone
-Get just 3-5 1st downs in the Bama game that extends drives, eats clock, turns field pos and gets just a few points...

Team was loaded, especially on DEF, and sadly it was a wasted opportunity. NO other way to say it.
With that said, flush it and move forward. Talent abounds on both sides of the ball. MUST use those early non-conf games to gel the OFF and have DEF get their assignments down. Tough sched, no doubt, but we can still compete and win 9 games or better.

As long as we don't have gaps in our roster moving forward like 2014, I have faith that Canada will play to our player's strengths.

I never understood why we didn't run some bunch formations for Harris. It was clear he wasn't a full field progression qb. Why not make it easy on him. These type of things happened during Miles entire tenure.
2008 anyone with a brain could see that Lee didnt handle pressure well, did they ever move the pocket for him? No.

It was clear to anyone that JJ has trouble going through reads during his drop. Did they take that out and use more shotgun? Hell no.

It will be refreshing to see a coach form a game plan around the player's strengths rather than trying to force a system or philosophy onto a qb.
