A & W cream soda, those were my grandpas favorite. I could never drink one without thinking of him.

Strawberry Qwik (powder, not syrup)

I'll bet you anything most of the "beer snobs" couldn't pass a blind taste test
What point is being made here when people say it?
Most craft beer drinkers could certainly spot the bmc beer in a blind taste test. Beyond that, it's all subjective from a preference standpoint.
Are you saying that if someone can't identify the exact beer in a blind taste of two or more beers of the same style, hop profile, etc that they are a phony or something?

I was a big Jamo drinker and for the first time I tried Jameson 18 last year. Good lawd that's some smooth whiskey.

That's exactly it, that most craft beer snobs are full of shite.

The breweries up here have hipster craft beer specialist. If you order a regular beer like a Budweiser they won't even look you in the eye as they give it to you. They generally just look over the top of their black rim glasses with a condescending smirk of disgust.

Born in the late 70s and for me it's Tang and Chocolate Soldier. Reminds me of being a kid.

Jagermeister
A room temperature bottle one Halloween evening left me passed out on the I-10 service road between Cleary and causeway the next morning.
Laying in some concrete parking lot in a Toga I didn't start the night wearing and no car no wallet and no memory of anything but warm jagermeister.

I don't get the facination with craft beer
I don't get the hate for it. I live in a city with a microbrewery on every corner, it seems. Love my neighborhood brewery, but that doesn't stop me from picking up a case of Budweiser when I know I'm about to be drinking for a while.
Wouldn't you rather have options?

Chek sodas from Winn Dixie. It was the only store my grandmother shopped at.
She would always have the extra fridge in the garage full of them. All flavors.
I could go for a Chek Root Beer right now.

That's even more vague than the other post. Full of shite in what way?
There are a lot of douches that consider their beer preferences superior, but I think that characteristic is covered by the snob in beer snob. Not sure I would say MOST people who like craft beer are broadly "full of shite," but I'd need to know what you mean.
