They need to put a brace on that knee.

Serrett with the final out of the inning (grounder to ss). Going to the top of the 6th with LSU leading Auburn 6-0. Winner faces Ole Miss tonight for the SEC Tournament Championship.

How did Ole Miss look today? Didn't get to watch a lot of that one.

Beatable.

But they get 3 hours of rest more than LSU.

I missed the 1st out, but Jaquish gets a dropped fly out to RF (advances to 2nd on the drop). It's ruled as a single instead of an error (not gonna question why )

Runner on 2nd with 1 out and Landry at bat.

Jaquish advanced to 3rd on Landry's groundout to the pitcher.

2 outs with Doyle at bat.
Doyle grounds out to SS.

Heading to the bottom of the 6th, LSU still leading 6-0.

LSU looks to be a completely different team now. Finals and school being over for the summer has to take a lot of stress away for all the teams. It could be a bigger relief for some teams than others.

Ole Miss is solid, pitching is their strength but LSU is on a role on offense.

If LSU holds on I think we will be in a favorable position with a Rested Sydney Smith

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hoover either.

They're playing the tournament of their lives. Beating Florida and Bama was a tall order for them. Their pitcher has played all 3 games, so she has some innings on her, but they'll have a resting advantage over us. LSU is gonna play the revenge factor after getting swept by Ole Miss on the road. The first and only time they were swept this season, so that won't sit well with them.

Both are peaking at the right time.

Error by Walljasper allows runner to get to first.
Walljasper K's Cooper.

1 out with a runner on 1st. Wallace from Auburn up to bat.

Personally, I would rest Hoover till next week with the NCAA's starting then, just to be on the safe side. Go with a combo of Walljasper and Smith (with a short leash).

A single by Auburn and then an error on the following at bat loads the bases for Auburn (1 out).

Hoover coming out the bullpen to replace Walljasper. Bases loaded with 1 out. Here we geaux.

I won't question the decision, just hope that she's ready to go. They know more about her condition than I do.

Man, I hope Beth knows what she's doing here. This was due to a couple errors. Allie is still grooving. Not the time to change horses.

Smith is still an extremely reliable pitcher. She just happens to play next to two top ten pitchers.

She would start anywhere else besides Florida

I wouldn't think she would be on the field if she is having serious issues. This isn't the world series
