This team was swept Ole Miss and lost 2 of 3 from South Carolina, now playing for a SEC Tournament title. Sports are wild sometimes.

Really hoping for the LSU win tonight. Would make for the fourth LA team to win their conference tourney title today. McNeese, LA Tech, and ULL have all won. I imagine one of McNeese and Tech will be coming to Baton Rouge next weekend, but maybe ULL doesn't have a strong hosting shot which could gum up the works.

But give me some credit. If I was coach not that much would change other than I would make my line up out using the best available players and not let my emotions get in the way when writing in Sanchez's name.
I like Beth she just hasn't utilized out potential very well this year and has left one of our best hitters on the bench all year to pencil in one of the worst players in the league.
Dawson >> Sanchez or Quinn in any measurable category rather it be statistically, athletically, empiracally or other. It's not even debatable. Once Dawson learns to play the LSU way I bet Beth will use her, if she is even around to be used.

I love Dawson, I am extremely excited we have her but do we need to do this every time?
Quinn and Sanchez have been extremely solid this tournament, everyone is turning it on

BTW everyone I posted a recruiting update on the recruiting board.
A host is a lock now to me. Top ten SOS, the 15 RPI will jump up with two wins over two top 10 teams on a neutral site. LSU is in a really good position right now

Whom ever said it was probably very upset and deep down not meaning it. But I have to say that the best decision in hiring a coach in any sport was Alleva's choice to go with Beth. She is the best out of all the coaches in any profession here at LSU.

Lets be honest. Alleva did not see Beth achieving all this. Sometimes when coaches receive opportunities like at a much bigger program, they can be extremely successful and Beth is a really good example. After Murphy backed out, Alleva just folded on this hire, but we are extremely Lucky that we have her.
Nothing against Beth but her record record at FIU wasn't eye opening but she improved that program.
At the time no one really knew who Beth was as a coach. Now everyone knows her though

All I did was state a fact. We are winning and doing well with one of our best hitters on the bench. That shows how good this team and this staff is. It's a program compliment, take it as such.

it was the same dude that said fire dobson as well. the one that said many college coaches have talked bad about howard. I asked him to give me some names and if i run into those coaches at round robins and camps i will confirm if true or not. he never gave me a name. said he heard "dads" also saying things and alluded to Darrell landry not being happy with howard. told him next time i saw darell i 'd ask him if that was true. right now LSU softball is at least the second best program, arguably the best at LSU. Softball at ULL has been the best program there for ages. speaks volumes.

This is getting insane. Yes Dawson has a much higher ceiling. She has looked really well in her limited at bats and she will be a major contributor for this program. For those who followed the threads last season we constantly heard complaints about why Quinn was playing over Sanchez and about how her ceiling is higher. Sometimes shite doesn't workout as planned. I am not saying thats the case with Dawson but its just a fact of sports.
I just don't understand why it needs to be mentioned every damn game how someone is better than Sanchez. We just took out Tennessee at home and Auburn, two top ten teams. Sanchez had a hit today that resulted in the first run and a sac fly that could been double if it weren't for te wind against Tennessee.
It would be like LSU beating Bama in football and then I come and comment... " well Brandon Harris is better" I mean shite enjoy the win. I agree we need to improve in a lot of areas but she isn't the only player
