Jim you should know better, that would be divisive!!!

Seriously the entire COA ordeal should send a signal to any citizen paying attention, and make everyone question just how much corruption, graft, and etc. is going on out there.

I still can't get over the fact the EBR Parish Council, Mayor Holden, BRAC, BRAF, and all the city hall types went along with the COA proposition, let it get on the ballot, and said nothing to oppose it.

Really the EBR council is to blame. The R's are still a majority. But "old people" are hard to vote against.

And they weren't technically voting for it as sending it to the people to vote on. And at least it was a parish wide vote this time. But still, they did not do any kind of due diligence on this.

I think my Council member (Heck) was replaced since then so the new guy gets a pass from me.

I think BRAC actually did oppose the tax. Not 100% sure though.

I have no problem with them letting people vote on it, I have a problem with voters not educating themselves enough to see anything beyond "GOTTA SAVE OL'FOLKS!!!11111ERMAHGERD"

I also have a problem with a member of the legislature still trying to champion them.
