Best cheap food specials around LSU

Reading the best bar thread got me thinking. I know some people mentioned places like the rum house on tuesdays, but what are some other places where i can eat cheaply?

Half Price Oysters at the Chimes on Tuesday.
University Seafood is pretty cheap if you want to spend 6-9 dollars on a fried seafood lunch.
ETA: I think University Seafood is breaking the law by allowing people to buy prepared food with Louisiana purchase cards. They did it long before the flood, and still do it. They should probably be reported.

I'm not sure what's cheap around there anymore, I used to enjoy the cheap Chinese place on highland rd near the gates. I think a burger place is there now.
