So apparantly these people on naked and afraid in louisiana killed a spotted fawn, apparantly out of season with illegal gear. Wonder how green jeans feels about that? I know some local gw's who would love to write something like that up! Hahaha

I'd kill one in a heartbeat if I was on a show like that.

He said he honestly set the snare for a hog but caught a deer instead. He was ready to eat anything at that point. The game wardens came up in a big boat shortly after show producer reported the kill. Sitting there naked with two game wardens walking up on him was awkward. He said he remained cooperative, the tickets weren't too bad, and he paid all the fines and restitution required.

Lmao!!!! Funny shite there! Thanks for updating

as far as I am concerned, anyone who can stay outside naked in Louisiana for nearly a month can kill a deer whenever they are ready.

That deer had zero wire burn on it. Completely staged!

Absolutely. He stopped to listen, you could hear rustling, (fake) and the deer was stiff when he grabbed it.

Im sure it could have been fake. TV show comes first for ratings and such. No reality show is 100% real.
They do have to follow local laws none the less.

How many wildlife infractions have there been on Swamp People? Killing gros becs? Shooting turkeys out of season and over the limit?

It was definitely not fake. I went on a hunting trip with a green jeans agent that works in the main office in Baton Rouge and he was telling me about it.

I watched and was getting aggravated that they didn't just kill alligators. Easy to kill, good meat. But then I figured that they may have but wouldn't put it on TV because of the laws.

This is off topic but I've wondered before how scarce alligators were at the height of the native american empire. I would think they would be one of the top critters targeted. Like you said, tons of protein and useful body parts. Alligators may of been more rare in the 1400's than in the recent times that put them on the endangered species list.

Idk, Native Americans were smart. It's a risk/reward type of situation. One mistep resulting in a gator bite could be loss of hand severely handicapping the survivalist, or worse death from infection. It's not like there were any hospitals around.

That's a good point. Easy to forget that back then a simple cut could lead to death.
Also they didn't have strong hooks to bait-catch them. And even if they did imagine how hard it would be to shoot them in that quarter-sized kill zone with a arrow?

Could have been the nanny hanging out around her deceased little one.

How many times did the la naked and afraid contesteants have boats come by fishing? I bet quite frequently

Native Americans had medicine men. They knew how to fix anything with native plants and stuff.
