I don't think the interest as slowed at all. I think the "new car smell" might be fading but I'm still monitoring like it's my job and I'm still trying to educate myself on everything crypto.

I'm going to hold Iota. I only put bought maybe 250 shares though, so I didn't put much money in at all.

We just got through a big rush of dumb money. People like me who dont know near enough to really pick a winner.
There will be another wave eventually, some of this wave will stick around ,some will cash out and move on to the next big trend.

I have 700 iota im holding long term. I bought right after Bitfinex release and got in at .55 unfortunately. I like the idea of free transactions, the tangle network over block chain, and the more transactions occurring the faster they process. They have been around a few years and seem to have a good team of developers.

Possibly or it could go to 500 by next weekend. Maybe even both. We need some big news or an event to get things moving agsin though in my opinion

From what I've seen coming from the TA guys, we might see a slight dip soon. A lot of people going short right now. I went short and moved into about 5 other coins today. Waiting for a breakout to see when to jump back in.
Fyi, I'd move some money into Ripple for this coming week.

I definitely don't think so. Hard to match 2-3x bull run hype but the volume is still solid. Just not much news right now.

I saw this thread early on then got busy with life and didn't re-check it until today. FML.
Some questions:
I have Coinbase/GDAX/Polo/Gemini all setup. Haven't actually made any transactions yet, just following. If/when I buy, I just plan to hold and not be too active since I'm often busy at work. I've seen people complain it takes forever to go from USD>Eth on Coinbase (plus the fees). Is it faster to buy Eth on GDAX and is it okay to let Eth sit on GDAX? Can you cash out and transfer to your bank account on GDAX?
Thanks.

If you plan on just holding ETH, buying on coinbase will be fine. When you purchase, it locks in your price. You get your ETH once the ATH transfer goes through, usually 5-7 days.
Think of it as 5-7 day shipping.

it seems like ETH has become a bit more stable the past half week or so

Was anyone in on Antshares? Seems to be the flavor of the week. Many are calling it the Ethereum of China.

Two ETH backed platforms have planned ICO's coming up. Will be interesting to watch how the price of ETH moves with them. One is called Status and one is Civic. The more that have ETH platforms the more widely accepted it starts to be which can only be good for us I hope.

Is anyone expecting the sec to step in with regulations soon?

This stuff has completely fricked the video card market. Almost every good card is now out of stock glad i got my 1070 before all the AMD cards went OOS due to the Eth craze.

There's a third that is doing an ICO later this summer. Don't know the name but it's in the hospitality sector aimed at disrupting GDS systems like Sabre & Amadeus. Smaller than the broad based tokens and concepts being developed, but a very simple value for suppliers like airlines and hotels.
