Weird coincidence with the expected Alton Sterling announcment...will it hurt or help to have that footage of a burning city, pulling whites out of vehicles and gunfights in the steeets plastered all over National TV this weekend?

Probably the first thing they watch on their new televisions.

Then the protesters should keep their protests peaceful instead of looting and burning down innocent people's businesses and property

rioting and causing destruction are harmful to human life

Yep...if the protesters aren't trying to loot and burn down other people's shite, then the innocent residents/business owners won't be put into a position of having to defend themselves and their property with force.

Yes, it's a part of our history.
, ... an ugly part.
Continuously bringing up a part of history that was ugly is now inflammatory. It only stirs up trouble.
It makes the young black males mad to the point of wanting to punish the whitey ... physically.
We have the right to free speech but there must be something criminal in what they are doing.
At least there is something to be learned from the documentary. That is the likely location of burning and looting. I believe it will be in North Baton Rouge.

It's probably going to be told from the perspective of the black people from Watts.
Just because they threw a fit doesn't mean they were right. Maybe they were, but there are more sides to stories.
For example... just because blacks in St. Louis rioted after Michael Brown was killed doesn't mean those people were right and the police were wrong. Just because they screamed the loudest doesn't mean they are right or justified.
I'm not saying the Rodney King situation wasn't police brutality. It was. But the L.A. riots were about way more than one incident.
But the media constantly tells these stories from the perspective of those who yell the loudest, whether they are right or wrong. You'll never get the perspective from the police who can explain to the uninformed why they use the tactics they do. You never hear from the Koreans who were protecting their stores from being looted and have long had problems with blacks in the area. You'll never hear from the victims of crime that takes place in these shithole areas, which leads to more aggressive policing to protect the innocent and protect cops own lives.
You never get a full picture. And the media does it in purpose. They choose sides instead of painting an accurate picture from all perspectives.

I believe it is 9:00pm CST on ABC...
This is super bad timing in my opinion...and I am not completely sure that this is not being aired on purpose. I don't say that out of tin foil hat type thinking, but this morning on the View, asshat Joy Behar mentioned that we are on the verge of rioting once again in the US based on police shootings. She is on ABC, and I found it ironic that she mentioned it this morning out of the blue. The ads for this program just started running about a week ago. Very interesting timing.

they should temper it by showing the humanitarian scenes that were going on, like big screen tvs, liquor, and Air Jordans being liberated from incarceration
