i just don't see a WLB as a huge game changer where you'd want to take him at 11, plus he has other issues (brains, character, drugs, etc)

yeah he's worth the gamble at 32, but he went 1 pick earlier. we got solid value there so it is what it is

on to defense at 42. we can get another CB or a pass rusher like Williams

No he won't ... 49ers won today.

That's why I expected him to slide, and why I question whether the Saints would take him at 32.

I mean, his comparisons are Kuechly and Willis

Greg Cosell wrote up a scouting report on him and basically said "well I didn't find any weaknesses so this article will just focus on strengths, sorry"

He's never tested positive for drugs btw

Getting sent home from the Combine is a pretty big red flag.

What can you do? The Saints had no idea the 49ers were gonna jump up in front of them.

Do people seriously not see a huge red flag with him considering he fell into the lap of one of the best teams at evaluating defensive talent who do not shy away from character issues and they not only passed on him, but actually traded him in the division?

You trade up a couple spots and beat the 49ers to the punch. He was by far the highest rated player left, everyone knew who they were taking when they traded up.

You can say, gee here's this top 10 talent that keeps falling, let's dangle a later pick and see if we can snag him before someone does the same

Foster can smoke all the legal weed he wants to now in San Fran barring he does not get caught.

he's nothing like them as a prospect. sorry

he's not as big and isn't nearly the same sort of leader or overall player. hell he's not even a MLB like they are/were

in the eyes of the NFL, he already has 1 strike against him. that's an issue for his career

you can try to get more value out of the pick by trading it, rather than just settling...

yeah, Lynch's bitch arse knew they would take Foster and he jumped at the chance to keep them from getting him, and now the bitches have another great player on their always tough, dominant defenses that has slipped as of late, but with these picks will return to being dominant again. That sucks arse!

I didn't say the Saints should've taken him at 11. BilJ said there was nothing the Saints could've done. So I said the Saints had a pick prior, and if they actually wanted him, could've actually done something. I don't think the Saints ever wanted him and I'm fine with that honestly. He was amazing at Bama, but there have been several red flags since. Mayock really seemed to think he is seriously injured.

How can you possibly know that?

You're a sharp guy, but the professional talent evaluators are comparing his talent to Willis and Kuechly. He would probably make a bad podcast guest, but his talent isn't really questionable

or you hold tight, bolster another position and see what's there at 42.
