Ap still has game breaking speed.
Based on what? The 37 carries he had last year?

I'll take #7 over ANY RB you Ever had in birmingham.
Birmingham? You do know the University of Alabama is located in Tuscaloosa, right?

Knowing when to quit is an admirable quality. I wouldn't want to continue to get embarrassed either.

If I do, does this mean that we can trade Stephone Anthony for CJ Moseley and Fleener for Groningen?

You're missing all his fumbles at the worst time possible

You're not missing anything man.
As Mark65 said, he's a Hightower upgrade. As much as we all appreciated Tjm (great guy, leader, etc), we needed to upgrade the backfield. Hightower wasn't running for anything after contact.
We're adding potential to have two running backs that can scare a defense. Will it work out? Dunno. But if Peterson can take 150+ ish carries for more damage than Hightower could, then it makes the offense more dangerous. We had the cap space.
That's all there is to it.

An Ingram hater deserves no football discussion credence.

He went to Bama so we don't like him. Most would rather have literally anyone else of equal (or maybe slightly less) value. It's stupid. What's even more stupid is not admitting it. Trying to make performance based arguments for your Ingram hate makes you look like an ignorant follower. Just admit you don't like him because he went to Bama. If we had Julio, I'd wanna trade him for Antonio Brown or OBJ. Just is what it is.

He fumbled several times in key moments of games last year, lack of homerun hitter speed and bad attitude make him average

You mean the whole 5 lost fumbles he has for his career (including rushing and receiving), and the whole 2 he had last year. And those were his first lost rushing fumbles since his rookie year when he had a whole 1.
Man we should really trade that chump Mike Thomas then, right?

In 6 years and 73 games played, he's fumbled 5 times on 884 attempts and 3 times on 133 receptions (1 fumble per 127 touches), losing 5 of those. For comparison, DeMarco Murray has 13 fumbles in 80 games on 1356 attempts and 4 fumbles on 260 receptions (1 fumble per 95 touches), losing 11. And a lot of you, if asked, would say DeMarco is a better ball handler before reading this post. Y'all just hate Ingram because he went to Bama...plain and simple. So, I ask...what fumbling problem does Mark Ingram have?

2 good backs is better than 1
Posted on 4/26/17 at 6:50 am to Crescent Connection
didn't he go his whole college career with 0 or only 1 fumble I seem to remember it being a highlight with Ingram was that he didn't cough up the ball. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

MI in a nutshell with fans is the type of RB that when he runs for 125 yards and 2 TDs, we celebrate him for one day. When he fumbles in the first quarter of a preseason game, fans never forget and despise him for years.
He's not elite, and won't be in our offense b/c of limited touches. In our O, he is a solid to good RB. We haven't truly had an elite RB since Duece, and even he wouldn't have been elite in our O today as much as people think he would in his prime. RBs like MI need 20 plus carries a game to show their full potential. That's not gonna happen with any RB in a SP offense, or at least, very seldom. And as much as I liked Pierre Thomas, he wasn't elite either.
