When my grandparents lived in Minnesota my grand father would get nervous when the freezer started getting overloaded from all our fishing. Apparently wardens coming around checking freezers is a real thing there.

I fished all last week and had well over 200 trout in ice chest at the camp to clean at the end of the week. According to this I would have been screwed had they come over to the camp to check.

I have seen them do some freezer searches on the tv show Northwoods Law. It's usually related to a poacher or killing a moose/deer out of season or without a tag.

Law also specifically says you can't filet on a boat or have trout parts on a boat,

If this is true what about a house boat or say on your boat on the way back to land from your houseboat/floating camp.. There are camps all over this state you can only get to by boat. So this is saying any fish you catch and clean have to stay at the camp? If true that's retarded.

So if you SO or wife is licensed you can double your possession? What about my 3-year-old?

This is odd.
