but I've never had this forced upon me, likely not anymore than the those years older.
So you would contend your history books, content, emphasis and themes are unchanged vs "those years older"? You would contend books highlighting politically influenced science such as anthropogenic global warming are unchanged vs "those years older"? You would contend that learning/teaching methods are unchanged vs "those years older"?

If those are your contentions, I can tell you point blank you are wrong.

No, but this is not something new, plus it's a good money making scheme irrespective of political ideology.

No, but global warming is a relatively new theory, so politics or not, this was going to occur anyways.

No, but as a person who had to study learning theories for graduate school, like any other field that has an empirical basis, a lot of change is a result of that. But much of the basic principles from the mid-20th century are still in place (Behavioral theory, Cognitive theory).

Well I wasn't referring to those obvious contentions, nor was I implying nothing has changed.

You made specific statements about very extreme and troubling changes from objectivity to subjective indoctrination. I was saying that this was not something that I personally experienced. So I was questioning how pervasive those changes were, especially since they are newsworthy--and newsworthy stories are often atypical, extreme, negative, and/or emotionally-laden.
