With Akers and several others being young at FSU, maybe we have a shot.
If I were a RB, I'd be drooling over the LSU RB position right now.....

Juluke had no shot with Cook
Robinson already had a relationship with him at USC, that is the pull.
FSU will be tough to beat and you can bet Dalvin is in his ear as well.
If he wants early pt all to himself LSU is the better option.
We shall see!

I have a funny feeling we might be more in this one than most let on. I could see us trading Akers for Cook

I wouldve preferred Akers by a good bit, but I'll take Cook and smile at this point

I keep reading FSU, but I don't think he wants to wall into Dalvin's shadow just by some or the interviews I've seen.

Not only that, but he'll be splitting carries with Akers for the next 3 years...assuming he even gets snaps. He's an elite back, but so are the other backs Florida State already has on the roster.

Jacques Patrick - 4*
Amir Rasul - 4*
Cam Akers - 5*
Zaquandre White - 4*

He can come in next year and be the starter here on day one of his college career.

Probably, but remember, Riley Ridley (Calvin Ridley's younger brother) chose UGA over Bama...anything is possible.
