#32 Pick
2010 - Patrick Robinson (bust)
2011 - Derek Sherrod (bust)
2012 - David Wilson (bust but due to injury)
2013 - Matt Elam (bust)
2014 - Teddy Bridgewater (freak injury may have ended career)
2015 - Malcolm Brown (appears to be solid rotational player)
2016 - Emmanuel Ogbah (solid rookie year, but a Brown)

I'd take Malcolm Butler over all of them

#42 Pick
2010 - Rob Gronkowski (HOF)
2011 - Brooks Reed (bust)
2012 - Jonathan Martin (bust)
2013 - Menelik Watson (bust)
2014 - Jordan Matthews (solid WR)
2015 - Jalen Collins (not very good)
2016 - Kamalei Correa (bust rookie year)

It doesn't get much better at #42 either. If we can somehow get an all-pro corner for the #42 pick, I would celebrate. If not, hope we draft a TE

That just means it's time for a HOF'er at 32.

But, but, but let's see how much money all of those guys made. Getting a CB in his prime; for a team that has no development time, just doesn't make any sense when he's gonna get paid like a top cb in his prime. There's all these guys that historical odds say likely will not work out that we can get for cheap at 32 this year, and then maybe when Drew is done and all of this talk is irrelevant anyway; they will be coming into their own, maybe.

But think about all of someone else's $$$ we will save!!!

I hate the "look at the bust w pick X" argument.

Ok, we can move to:

-Saint's history of Late 1st rd draft picks
-Saint's history of CB picks
-Odds of a CB draft pick making it in any round
-History of CB's length of time(yrs) to get to allpro if they get there

Which one of these will tickle your itch?

He's better than any CB on the Saints roster not named Delvin Breaux

Yeah it's just for funsies and doesn't have any bearing on pick #32 of 2017. That said, I was surprised how many players at 32 didn't make it. Football is a rough game.

I don't know. Falcons fans seem to not like him very much

besides that, the Saints rarely make 1st round selections that truly excite the fan base

Reggie Bush was the last one where I felt genuinely fired up about the pick.

Cam Jordan was a gift in 2011 cause so many teams gambled on
QB's and good players like him slid down the board.

I was genuinely shocked when Cam fell to us. It was super obvious Ingram was the pick until that happened. And then...

I had Cam mocked to us that year. There's proof on here somewhere.

I just thought there was no way in hell it would happen. But great players fall every year because of the players with "potential" I guess.

Jalen Collins graded out as the Falcons best corner last season, even better than Trufant before injury.
