No idea why someone would think CTE is age-related.

Any of the 6 high schoolers have greater than stage 1?

Is this when you start moving the goalposts? If so, I'm out. You've been shown that you can develop CTE in high school.

Havent recent studies shown that the links between head trauma and CTE may not be as strongly correlated as once believed?

Researchers from the Mayo Clinic say they have discovered CTE is also showing up disconcertingly frequently in men who participated in high school contact sports.
What else did they do in life? That's not the slam dunk link you're making it out to be,

I mean, why would you NOT develop CTE in high school? I don't get the argument.

Me either. But he's decided to defend that hill for some reason.

I mean, I wouldn't. Seems like a bad decision

Stuff other high school kids do that you insinuated could not develop CTE?

That's fine, I can acknowledge that. But I'd like to know how severe it has been shown in HS.

The kind that makes you do violent shite, not just the beginnings of it. Using CTE as an excuse for Hernandez is stupid, although I'm sure the thread will now just be about making fun of me.

I actually am interested, and I will.

yeah, it's about as straight forward as you will find. And it's a progressive disease, so it is not crazy to assume that most high schoolers would have the early stage variety...and that it's a bad thing if we're seeing young kids developing it.

Technically he died innocent. In Mass if you don't exhaust all appeals and then die you are innocent. It's called abatement ab initio.
