30 years old. WOW.
Unhappy with the sound of their latest album, Ian, Billy, & Jamie wanted something a little heavier. They ended up connecting with a little known hip-hop producer who just finished producing at the time a small thrash metal band's album Reign in Blood. So they went back into the studio with this new producer and released a stripped down hard rock album with a pounding definitive drumbeat.
Wildflower
Peace Dog
Lil Devil
Aphrodisiac Jacket
Bad Fun
King Contrary Man
Love Removal Machine
Born to be Wild
Outlaw
Memphis Hip Shake
In support of the album, early 87 they opened for Billy Idol. But by mid summer they were headlining with an opening band called Guns-n-Roses.
This album was pretty much my party anthem through high school.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icondude.gif)

Great album. Love Removal Machine has always been my favorite track off that one...

My first comment upon hearing just the music and not knowing who was playing: "When did AC/DC get a new singer?"

What an awesome album! I assumed that you would start this thread today
I remember being a little shocked at the first listen, because it was so different from Love. Once I got over that, it became one of my favorite albums of all time.
I also enjoy the original Manor Sessions version of the album. Both albums rock in different ways
1987 was the best year of music EVER
