That's so dumb I don't know where to start.

Let's start here: No one "fears" diversity. There are tens of millions of people who doubt that diversity is in fact a plus, and therefore they have no incentive to push for diversity, over, say, accomplishment, or ability, or intelligence, or a good work ethic, etc.

So the very premise of your argument is flawed. Conservatives and liberals do not agree, in general, on the value of diversity, so what you perceive as "fear of diversity" is in fact an unwillingness on our part to sacrifice more important virtues in the pursuit of diversity.

To most conservatives, any of the things I listed above are more important than diversity.

Secondly, what you mean by diversity is usually only one type of diversity: color. By diversity you mean more people of color. You rarely mean diversity of thought, or culture, or background, or political philosophy. By diversity you mean people of color who happen to be liberals.

Why should conservatives strive for that? It helps you, but it doesn't necessarily help the country. In fact, in our view it weakens the country by strengthening a political philosophy we consider to be faulty and weak-minded.
