Les was a much better coach. Paul doesn't have to deal with the likes of Saban every year.

Gilbert's been the closer since Newman got hurt and he's been nails.

Newman had three guys tag the ball. One was right at Kramer. One got a hit. The next guy hit it hard right at smith for the dp.

Newman was far from good. He got lucky on balls in play and that's why the scoreboard almost never tells the actual story.

But our idiot fans never see beyond the box score.

What idiot pulls Gilbert for Bain there. You live or die with Gilbert at at that point. We died. It happens.

Fire everyone.

The difference between Les and Paul is Les was so idiotic when it comes to in game coaching he was made fun of nationally by people that know nothing about football. Paul is and will always be regarded as a very good baseball coach. You idiots who complain about Paul don't have one logical replacement for him...not one

Not enough "national people" pay attention to college baseball for anyone to notice Paul's in-game issues. Which do exist. Not this game, but some.

As for his replacement, there's no fricking reason to discuss it. Baseball sells out. Baseball wins "enough". The AD (and no AD) is going to make a change.

we'd never buyout his ridiculous contract. I'm not sure how most don't understand that while LSU does turn a profit in baseball, it doesn't justify paying millions to send Maineri packing for an underachieving season
