Wtf kind of people do you associate with? The married/out of shape part, fine. But none of the guys I know have a record, can't get a job, or are "on dope".

I just read some of the stuff goldennugget has posted. Sometimes I wonder if he is fricking around with people on this board.

Anyone who says they wouldn't date a woman with a kid.. You are limiting yourself, someone with a child could be the perfect person for you, but you are not even going to find out because she has a kid? Not to mention, you could be a positive influence on the kid. I understand wanting your own kid first, but sometimes life doesn't go the way you plan it.. IDK, that just seems like a big limitation.

you are reading what i say too litearlly.

okay let's try this another way

you know 20 single guys when you are 25 years old

byh the time you are 27 one of them accidentally knocked up a girl

by the time you are 29 2 more have proposed, one is now on drugs and one has gained 50 pounds and is not in shape
[

by the time you are 30 1 more tried to invest in real estate and went bankrupt, one has had another baby

by the time you are 31 4 more have proposed

by the time you are 32 2 dudes you know got arrested for getting in a fight in a bar and are on probation for assault

by the time you are 33 one has died in a car crash RIP. it's fricked up but hey this is life life happens

by the time you are 34 one single guy has given up on dating and has let himself go, another is is engaged

when you were 25 you knew 20 single men when the market in your age favored women. when you are 35 you know 5 other single men where the market favors men. stay in shape, keep that credit spiffy and have a good job and you are in the top 10% . it's not a hard concept to understand

i'm with nugget on this one. i don't have a problem with women with kids, but it's my life and you aren't going to shame me into raising another man's child, especially when i have no kids.

i was raised by a single mom and my mom is a wonderful person and yes single moms can be great, but i'm still not doing it because i want to raise my own child. now after my son is born, and i run into someone if i ever leave my fiancee, okay that's different. but as someone without kids, i'm not raising another mans child before i raise my own, dont' care what anyone else says

I have 2 boys, and I'm not looking for a girl to "raise my child." I've raised them on my own for the majority of their lives. I'm not saying anyone is a bad person for not dating someone with kids, but that "raising someone's child" stuff is idiotic. I haven't even brought my kids around any girl I've dated, and I won't unless I plan on her being my wife.

Which red flags, specifically? I didnt disagree with all just some. Most of the style stuff is old tymie bullshite. This isnt the 1950's. No one gives a shite about such fickle things anymore.
