Ball didn't play well against Fox the first time they met.

He hasn't been exposed. It's a bad matchup, yeah. Still a top 3 player in this class.

Fox also played well the first time around. They're two different PGs though. Fox is cut of that Rondo cloth and has such a high ceiling.

Just imagine what level he'd be playing at if he didn't have to sit multiple games due to the flu and played injured half of the season?

Watching Ball for the first time only makes me realize(or confirm) how big of a freak Ben Simmons is. He has a few inches on him but handles the ball better, is way more athletic, and just of good of a passer. He obviously can't shoot like Ball but the 2 aren't comparable at all as athletes

Fox controlled the game pace.

I think Ball is an exceptional talent. His passing instincts are Randy Livingston/Jason Kidd like and he's a better shooter than either was at this stage IMHO.

It's a shame his Dad's idiotic antics compromise and compound any hint of struggles he has.

There aren't many players that can stay in front of Fox. That kid has elite quickness and burst.

Ball reminds me a lot of Shaun Livingston with a jumper and pre injury Shaun Livingston was sick. He's never going to be good defensively but if you surround him with the right players he won't be a liability
