Re Trump campaign and potential spying- should Trump get even?

Seeing as the left has no qualms about Trump getting spied on during and after the campaign, and that they seem to think this was justified...
Should the right respond in kind? I can think of more than a few political opponents that are worthy of such scholarly study.
With elections in 2018 and 2020, there's lots of opportunity to improve on the admittedly poor performance of the IC during the last election cycle.
Rather than Trump getting mad, should he get even?

This is what children do. Just because someone else broke the rules, doesn't make it okay. As soon as the dick swinging contest becomes more important than the well being of America, democracy has failed.

HRC was a poor candidate to begin with. Her baggage only grew as the campaign went on. Your argument would hold more water if Bernie was the candidate rather than getting sunk by the party he chose to represent.

Well to be fair our counterparts on the left claims no laws were broken. I am sure there's enough leeway to make this work.
Besides with a FISA court acting as a third party, I am sure they would stop any egregious violations.

Since when is investigating potential criminal or treasonous behavior breaking the rules? Do you think that just because it involves a political campaign that anything goes with no repercussions?

Of course he should, and then some.
Its whats wrong with Republicans they don't push back on anything when they are in power. But when the Democrats are in power they go full throttle. Its why the country has been moving leftward for the last several decades.
