Do you live in a city with lots of charge stations compatible with Telsa cars? Then it's fine to get one.
But if you live in bumblefrick w/no charge stations nearby and no Telsa authorized mechanics to fix any issues you should pass for now.

I've been saying for years I wanted to import one of those. I wish I had $27k sitting around.

Tesla and Elon musk are obviously created by the dark cia and are propped up by soros
Think about it, not only does musk look and sound like a bond villian, but they've only sold like a couple dozen cars in the history of the company
The globalists don't want you to be self sufficient, and what better way than to trick you into driving a plastic cuckmobile tesla that has to be plugged into a wall to work
When the globalists start the organ harvest, us f250 baws prolly ain't gonna help you tesla driving square glasses namby pambies

NOOOOOOO! Battery technology has not yet advanced far enough to make electric cars work from an engineering or efficiency standpoint Ask your Tesla sales rep : How long will this batter pack last? How much will it cost to replace? What happens to the old battery pack? And finally, How much will my electric bill at home be impacted by charging this vehicle.!!!? Gonna be great when the engineering actually works but not yet.
Already went through all this with my Tesla sales rep, baw. You can see exactly how much - little, to be precise - you'd be paying in electricity costs compared to the cost of gas by going to the nifty calculator on their website: LINK . Just plug in your energy rate and expected mileage and you'll see the difference. It's huge.
Also, no need to worry about the battery. The Tesla Roadster debuted over 10 years ago and you don't see anyone complaining. Not to mention Tesla offers an 8 year, infinite mile battery warranty. Also, with the investments being made in the gigantic battery gigafactories, the price of these batteries will continue to drop.
In other words... they've already thought of all of that. Next question.

Not at all. You charge these things at your house overnight, every night. The range is over 215 miles. The charging stations in your city are for people from other cities visiting in their Tesla.

Maybe I should have put in the qualifier "if you drive a whole lot for work" as I was thinking about how often I have to go all around the Metroplex to pick up and return gear in a single day. Driving from Dallas to McKinney to Forth Worth and back adds up pretty damn fast.
Also, if you live in an apartment complex it may be an issue b/c not all of them have access for charging so it may still be a relevant question.

Heard that.
The charging stations get you to 80% in 15-20 minutes, which isn't bad but I can see it being annoying if you have to use them on the reg.
For my lifestyle I'd only use them on longer trips/vacations. Otherwise my time spent refueling my car will go down to near 0. Going to be pretty sweet never having to think about it!!!

Actually no, I looked into leasing one at my vacation home and there is a company called evercharge that will setup a charger for you and its pretty inexpensive but in the end the leases were pretty terrible on the tesla, the p100d is over $2000/mo which is the same lease you get on a $300k car for a $150k car.
