She doesn't know. Just regurgitating blogs as usual.

Go read the second link in the OP. When Trump countered with a challenge he offered to take the MILs country OFF the list for Hawaii; and the Judge still told POTUS to pound sand.

Being a Hawaii native and all.

What would stand out as an awe-inspiring, set me above all else trait?

That would outweigh his allegiance to his appointer.

I'm not judging or questioning his legal background, far from other than just my general knowledge admittedly.

No pissant judge should wield this power. Congress needs to revise district court jurisdiction.

Hush it with your trifling, snide blog and know-it-all crap. There is no denying that this is overall-- Obama V. Trump and it's very politically charged. There were many articles that Obama lawyered up the courts and prepped to bring down Trump. The very articles reporting Obama's work on the side- were a comfort to the democratic butthurt, sore loser left.

Just because one of Obama's judges was approved- means nothing. Obama had all of his nominations and cabinet approved because that was back when calling people a racist, bigot worked. I am sure he is a good, intelligent judge but this is indeed politically charged.

He was obviously a Harvard grad (undergrad and law), and I don't know what sort of cases he worked on, but he was a partner in a law firm, and a federal prosecutor in California and Hawaii.

He was also a Captain in the army reserve (if that matters).

I just don't see anything controversial about his nomination, especially since the Senate confirmed him 94-0. Not to mention, he does have a connection to he position, which despite being in a tourist hotspot, it is a unique and far place that his knowledge (as a prosecutor and living there) doesn't seem irrelevant.

Right, because Obama clearly saw Trump winning the presidency in 2013 when he nominated the guy

If it indeed happened like the article stated...It appears as if Trumps lawyers were smart in this counter, as it crushes their case and standing and will look real political when it hits SCOTUS because it is. The MIL would still be vetted if I understood the vetting correctly.

MIL is from Syria, right? So is Syria dangerous or not? If the vetting process stringent enough or not?

You keep telling me how important the ban is, but then Trump keeps giving up pieces of it. I'm so confused.

Confused why Trump doesn't care about our national security. One pissant judge disagrees with him, and now we're opening the doors for ISIS.

What the frick, man?

Then wouldn't that have weakened have EO, if one person's challenge was enough to alter it? Besides would a court whose actually making a ruling later on, look at that and change their mind?

He does. But that's not the issue that has been ruled on.

The President apparently only gets to decide things when he is an ISIS-loving Democrat.
