You eat well. They will see your body and get motivated.

My wife has seen the effects of having three children. But for some reason, I find that attractive. A gym type person would get on my nerves.

Inexplicably, not always. I see a guy around town who has gained maybe 100lbs since his wife had kids. Meanwhile she plays tennis thrice a week and looks the same as she did 3 kids ago.
I see the opposite even more often. Big ole gals whose husbands still stay in decent shape.
How the fat spouse in each of these scenarios doesn't see the writing on the wall is beyond me. If that ever happens to me, I would hope my wife would feel comfortable sitting me down and telling me that my fatness has become an issue.
