Ten year cost projections from the CBO are a fricking joke. Why does any person on the planet take these numbers seriously?

because they hear the term nonpartisan and have no idea what it means in practice as it relates to the CBO

Because right or wrong, anything over $2Bn in savings by CBO calculation clears way to reconciliation.

A Republican plan to replace the Affordable Care Act would leave 24 million more people without insurance in 2026 compared with current law, an analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has found.
Again, without a source I can't help you. If that is a legit source, they mistyped "2" instead of "1".

The number is 14 million.

CBO and JCT estimate that, in 2018, 14 million more people would be uninsured under the legislation than under current law.

The same group that said Obamacare would be deficit neutral?

There will/would be no "current law" surviving by 2026! That's the damn point!

And end up cutting health care for up to 24 million people (14 million in 2018), according to the CBO.

and nearly all of it goes to build the Wall of Trump

meanwhile tens of millions of people will be going to the ER for their medical issues.
those costs will be 5X to 10X what is charged in the MD office.
bet they did not factor that in.

This is the part I don't get. Sick people are still gonna go to the doctor (and now the ER more often). That's gotta get paid for from somewhere.

There's no endgame without publicly subsidized healthcare ASIDE from straight up denying that healthcare to people who can't afford it.

This is a fact that goes over the head of most conservatives. They are very short-sighted and can't see past the end of their noses. If this GOP health plan gets passed as is, it will be a fricking disaster. About the only people who will benefit are the rich, who as usual, will get a big tax break from the Republicans. They seem to think the wealthy have it too hard.

Facts are stubborn things. Contrary to goals, ER visits rise under Obamacare.
