Beauty and the Beast Disney Agenda

I'm curious to hear grown up discussion on this. Disney has decided to add a Gay influence in their recent adaptation of the the Beauty and the Beast classic. I was planning on taking my girls to see this, but I'm not for pushing this type of agenda on our children. My views and beliefs are considered outdated these days, but curious to hear others opinions.

I'm not bothered by what I am sure is several seconds of a scene that will in all likelihood be forgotten about.
This same "outrage" came up in How to Train your Dragon 2 and it turned out to be nothing.

You will no doubt be shamed on here as being backwards, but this addition is unnecessary like most of the token gay characters we are beginning to see on commercials and tv. There's no point other than giving a tip of the cap to the "gay community". It serves no purpose to include this stuff in movies targeting children.

Younger children (3-6) that haven't reached the age of reason are really impressionable, don't know the consequences of their actions, and will copy things they see. Or just be completely confused. If your child can reason (generally ages 7 and up), then you can explain what happened and why.
I personally don't care for children's movies pushing specific social agendas but that's where we are in society.

Shrugging it off is the reason why we are here.

Anyone that has seen the original knows this is not an add.

This movie is a complete cash grab and embarrassment to Disney. It is the exact same movie as the cartoon. Same songs and characters. Just like Jungle Book, they are cashing in on the naivety of this generation's youth.

It isn't necessary because there are much more subtle and better ways to achieve the same goal. Themes of acceptance of people who are different, sharing, acts of kindness, and other great values expose the child to great attributes without having to be so explicit in your message.

Well, there is little I can do about it. Hollywood is deep in the SJW movement and has been for quite some time.

Honestly I don't see the gayness. And Gaston looked like he was falling asleep.

How about you wait and see if it's really as bad as you think

I didn't know that guy plays Gaston. He's gay IRL

I think you can go in fairly confident that they have no plans to show any actual sodomy taking place.

I mean...he is prancing around and singing about a dude while pounding on his heart
its pretty obvious that LeFou is in love with the guy
the gay thing has nothing to do with Gaston, it is about how LeFou is obsessed with him

If Disney wants my support then they should change the plot to where Gaston kills Beast and Belle stops acting like a fricking weirdo.
