This morning, two cops were sitting in a school zone. The school zone speed limit is 20 mph. By the time I got to the school zone speed limit sign, the cop had already turned his lights on. I looked when I hit the sign, and I was well below the posted speed limit. I told the idiot you can't clock someone before they get to the sign. He just blew it off and wrote me a ticket. So I called to make sure I was right, and yes they cannot get you for speeding if you haven't reached the posted speed limit sign yet. Dumbass motherfrickers like that a-hole are the reason people hate cops.

Arguing with a cop is a lot like arguing with a woman. You may win on principle, but in reality, you really lose. Enjoy paying that fine.

Did he clock you in his mirror? Hate when they do that. They sit in a parking lot around here behind a dumpster where you can't see them until you're right there and point the gun in their mirror.

You gotta give me a chance to spot you and slow down or its cheating IMO

SO you were going the normal speed before, but by the time you got the sign, you were "well below" 20mph? I think your're fibbing.

I was pulled over once on my way down to the beach (fricking hellhole of a speed trap that is Robertsdale, AL), and I had almost the same argument with a cop.

He said the speed limit is enforceable as soon as you can see the sign.

I asked him how he could tell at what distance one could read the sign and does he make adjustments for nearsighted/old folks

Of course he didnt have an answer, but of course he gave me the ticket anyway.

School zone lights are on every morning even during the summer and holidays. I feel weird doing it, but I don't even slow down
I'm waiting for the day I get a ticket for doing 60 in a 25

Also, that sucks and this is off topic, but I hate when you're driving on a road and there isn't a single speed limit sign. *cough* Elysian Fields going towards the lake.
I've driven down that road atleast 50 times and still don't know the speed limit.
