No doubt there's an uphill battle for Louisiana when it comes to its topography in terms of roads, but it's really the insanely slow response and repair times that used to drive me nuts.
There were a couple massive potholes in front of my parents' home in the quarter. On more than on occasion the carriages got stuck in them as they were giving tours (which I'm sure left a great impression on those tourists), so my parents called to report it.
About two months later, someone came out to inspect them, and roped it off with cones. SIX MONTHS after that they finally got around to patching it, and it already looks like that repair is coming apart.
Anecdotal, I know. But I was amazed at how long it took to simply fill in a few massive potholes.

Youre the one that compares roads in Az to roads in North Baton Rouge. You still haven't answered any of my questions.

Man relax, you're not a White House correspondent and she's not CJ Clegg.

ould watch a tv show where tb08 just travels the country pointing out that Louisiana does it better. "Philadelphia, you're alright, but we've got way better bells in NOLA."
Go frick yourself you little bitch. Show me where I claimed Nola or La in general is any better than any other city. Please provide a link as well. Thanks. I'll wait.

I already did. My aunt and uncle live off Jones creek road in south Baton Rouge...NOT the ghetto.
He called the city 5 times about a large pothole in his neighborhood, nothing done.
Always saw potholes on old Hammond highway driving to my parents as well.
Now if you expect me to tell you exact coordinates or some shite like that....like I can remember all that.

So I'm not allowed to challenge her bullshite that she can't back up but she's allowed to just say shite that she can't back up without anyone challenging her?
Bostons roads sucks compared to the roads in the entire state of Florida. And the beaches are nicer in Florida than they are in Boston.

It's naive of you to think the dysfunctional will take advantage of opportunities.

These polls are by no means a revelation to anyone. It's what leaves people like myself conflicted. There's a lot to love about the state and it's people, but there's an awful lot to dislike as well.
For me crime is a huge factor. I've live in at least 10 states and by far the crime in La was the worst. Say what you want about the white flight Paradise's of Prarieville or Mandeville or whatever. Every time a read something in the OT it's followed by that is/was a good part of town. Unless you live in a compound the crime is ramapant. The only people I know who have been murdered all happened in LA.

You sure huh? What makes you so sure?
Does it flood a lot in that area where they were looking at putting Bucees?

Well that's my point. It's stupid to even compare the 2.

Omg you are ridiculous.
I don't know if it floods there regularly. It never did much where my parents lived at....which is not far from that area. I just know that area was hit really hard by the August flood.
