Johnny has to be upbeat about his team almost winning a game, right?

Is home boy with the nike shoes sitting on TD mid presser?

Fake news. Photo was taken around 4am during an LSU bball lock-in (right before watching The Pistol and playing charades).

Pete Thamel of S.Illustrated said on Finebaum that it will be "interesting to see just how much LSU cares about basketball". Point being, if J.A. narrows his search to "hot assistants vs proven head coaches" to save money, it will show how much LSU cares.

Jones thinks the attendees gave "great energy" during the presser.

So, LSU must not care about football either.

Part of me feels sorry for Johnny.
If you can't coach you better hire a decent staff and let them do their jobs.
I don't feel sorry for him because he has had some good assistants here and he wouldn't let them coach, so they left.

Dale Brown and Collis Temple should be forced to attend.
A sad day indeed when your game is all about access, and you don't even have the common courtesy to use it.

This really is about as sad as a picture can be. I am worried that JJ has gone on so long he is really hurting the LSU brand.

This is so sad.... like I get JJ isn't the right guy for this program but at this point it seems like it's in his best interest that he's fired sooner rather than later, the man is just getting embarrassed at this point.
There are three games remaining in the season. What would be the point?
He embarrassed himself by blowing a big second-half lead to NC State in the NCAA tournament two years ago, missing the tournament completely last season and posting a 1-15 SEC record this season.

You almost feel sad. Not joking. It really is hurtful how Joe Alleva, Johnny Jones, and Dale Brown allowed this basketball program to sink into this abyss.
Maybe, I am too sensitive or too beta, but if I were standing on the sidelines at the PMAC and only saw maybe 200 fans in the stands, I think I would do some deep soul searching. I know that Alleva doesn't give a flip. Good lord man...have some pride in your job.
It will be another 4-5 years before we will have a decent men's basketball program. What a damn shame !

If we wouldn't have fouled the best free throw shooter in the history of UGA basketball, we might have won.
