KellyAnne Conway was reported to be 'sidelined from TV' by CNN. AKA she was done'it's over. She is obviously being attacked by the media. They are suppose to be reporting news, not the opposition political party; utilizing politics of personal destruction.
I guess this new 'law professors complaint,' was suppose to be the final nail in the coffin for KAC.
quote:
A group of 15 law professors nationwide has reportedly filed a professional misconduct complaint against White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, saying she "brings shame upon the legal profession."
The letter was filed with the office that handles misconduct by members of the Washington, D.C. bar, The Washington Post said Friday. Conway was admitted in 1995.
“We do not file this complaint lightly,” the group said in the filing dated Monday. "We believe that at one time, Ms. Conway understood her ethical responsibilities as a lawyer and abided by them.”
quote:
Professors from law schools including Yale, Georgetown and Duke signed the letter, which cites several recent controversies involving Conway as evidence.
One mentions Conway’s remarks about a nonexistent “massacre” in Bowling Green, Ky. earlier this month.
Another citation references Conway promoting merchandise associated with President Trump’s daughter Ivanka during a Fox News interview in early February.
D.C. Disciplinary Counsel Wallace “Gene” Shipp Jr. told the Post his office can only investigate about 400 to 500 of the roughly 1,500 complaints it receives annually. He added the actions that can be taken include dismissing the complaint to prosecuting the charges and possible disbarment.

Kellyanne Conway Returns to TV After a Reported Week-Long Benching
One of the most prolific surrogates for the current U.S. administration has returned to the nation's screens, disputing reports that she was intentionally "sidelined" by the White House following a string of controversial appearances.
Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, spoke Wednesday night to Fox News, and denied a CNN report which suggested her weeklong absence from TV was mandated by the White House.

Whole lot of misogyny going on in there. They can't stand a successful female.

More of the left's war on women

“But she is currently acting in a way that brings shame upon the legal profession,” they added, citing “conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.”
Isn't that sort of the definition of an attorney?

They are going for the jugular. Like this isn't politically motivated.
They actually use the terms 'prosecution' and 'disbarment,' over political statements. I think 'the D.C. Disciplinary Counsel,' should be investigated for having a political arm wanting to punish so harshly for political and innocuous statements. If this theory is applied to all in DC, and counselors to the POTUS; (especially democrats) they may all be disbarred.

I don't like this. Bar complaints should only be used for misconduct while practicing law, or when a lawyer actually breaks a law. If Conway is prosecuted and convicted of the Ivanka Trump silliness then maybe, but she hasn't been brought up on charges yet.
Conway is a goober, but she clearly is not practicing law and is not holding herself out to be. I hope this gets dismissed quickly.

I'd also like her opinion of the US possibly joining the British Commonwealth and if she feels that is also a covert gun grab a la Agenda 21.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The degree of insanity by the left in response to Trump's election is really amazing.

You mean you suspect that this is politically motivated as a proxy attack on Trump and not out of concern for the rule of law itself?
Yeah, you're being a real smart Einstein genius here.

Damn, I get yelled at even when we agree

These professors should be ashamed. The OCDC should be handling real cases of professional misconduct and not wasting their time with politically motivated games of gotcha.
Does anyone truly believe that KAC tried to trick us all into believing there was a massacre when there wasn't? Is she really that stupid? She obviously either misspoke or she was misinformed. Just because a statement is inaccurate is not proof that the speaker was being intentionally misleading.
Then, in response to people attacking the President's daughter (classy) she suggests that she is going to support Ivanka (and her brand) and others should too. Ok, she isn't supposed to promote the brand. She won't do it again. No harm, no foul. It is certainly not the kind of thing someone should be disbarred over.

The tyranny of the extra- constitutionalists continues . They have no way to contain their passions, so they just gush hatred and silliness instead, too self-absorbed to worry about the wisdom of it all.

I think the 'DC bar' needs to stop drinking like NT74. :tongue in cheek:
I think KAC's role in the WH is COMMUNICATION advisor.
It appears...that the lawyers of the elite Ivy league schools are confusing her role. (As the article itself states, she did not pay her dues in her maiden name so she is NOT practicing law.) She found another polling/communications gig that is obviously more lucrative than being a lawyer and gave birth to four small children all under the age of 12.
So isn't this garbage like suing me-- because I say you are a bonehead that needs to get engaged and settle down and be a nice young man and not an angered dickhead?
And screw your gotcha -agenda 21- question. You will have to explain further and provide a link.

Conway's role would be similar to Karen Hughes' position in the Bush 43 administration -- placing her close to the President, and handing her responsibility for much of the big-picture communication duties for the White House, a transition source told CNN's Jim Acosta.

Holy cow they've lost their minds. This is nuts! To think that they have gathered around and schemed and spent time on this. They have some real nerve saying she's corrupt while their disgusting Hillary gets away with murder, literally, and MANY other heinous crimes.

Too funny. IF Conway was a Democrat the MSM would be destroying these professors as misogynists racists conservatives who hate women in power.
