You want mine?

Go to a special runners store and get set up.

Will probably get down voted to oblivion for this, but most recently I've tried Nike Lunarepics and I love them. Just the amount of support I want and I like the flyknit. I do seem to burn through them though, so maybe they aren't that durable.

Altra is what I recommend to all of my clients. I've run in pretty much everything and nothing compares to Altras imo

All recs are good. You def need to get fitted and Varsity does a great job. They will tell you if you pronate, over pronate, etc. I have always been an ASICS fan, then Sacouny, but have switched to Mizunos. Hokas are good for some. I can't run in them, but they are extremely comfortable if you are on your feet all day.

Go get fitted at a store. I rotate between Brooks, Asics, and Saucony - I get a new pair every year and just get whichever feels best to me that particular year. All have been great.

I have not had any luck with New Balance.
