Always always take it for a test drive. And not just a fun little spin around the parking lot. You gotta open that baby up and see if she'll perform under harsh conditions.
They all look great on the showroom floor. How many look great after a rough 100 miles?

P in V before M is a sin. You're fricked.

Its a lot easier to break off a relationship and lease when you're not married.
Get married then move in together for the first time, hate living together, and get divorced. That's the real mess.

Better to find out she's difficult to live with before you get married than after. At least if
you move in before marriage and realize you can't stand living with her, it won't cost you a bunch of attorney fees and half your shite to get out of it.

What about the substantive discussion we are having?

it makes the wedding less substantial of a change. Week before marriage is the same as two weeks after.
That's bullshite. Why put all of that pressure on one event?
Moving in together is usually a gradual process. You're at one or the other's place most of the time anyway, you're probably having sex at that point, you're just moving your stuff to complete the transition.
If you're living together the wedding is still an important event. You're just not rolling the dice to see if you can stand each other after transitioning from seeing each other daily to being together 24-7.
I wouldn't advise people to live together unless they were very serious. And if you're engaged, I'd suggest that you live together for a few months before setting the date.

Don't worry about it, you already cohabitated before marriage so you already fall into the group more likely to divorce. Good luck on marriage 2&3 though!

Never heard that word before moving to Springfield.

baw lets be real...youve been living with your fiance for a year. by that point youve seen it all. youve seen her get the shits and stink up the bathroom, youve probably seen a toilet full of blood during her lady days, and youve seen how she lives and treats her living area in general.
so from the perspective if you havent run off by now then I think yall will be ok in the "living together" department.

Fianceé moved in with me while we're building our house. She washes and folds my clothes which is cool. In return, I cook so she doesn't buy food every night. So far it's been a win/win.

If you're looking at it this way, maybe you shouldn't get married

No post it note, but nice arse.

Also, definitely take the advice of people who refer to cohabitation as a "test drive" or some other car buying euphemism. Agreeing to love, live and care for someone for the rest of your lives is very similar to getting that new F250, how else will you know if your wife/vehicle leaks oil after 4 years and needs to be traded in?

The frick? I've lived with my wife for 9 years and I have never once seen this. You must live with one nasty arse bitch.

I think the biggest practical obstacle to living with your gf is often her parents disdain, which once earned, is hard to overcome.
