Then why the hell go, if you're not gonna let them do a proper assessment.

I already know I don't have any of those.

Ah scruff, you had a shot
But then you had to give good advice
You're never gonna get laid following that moral code of yours.

Everything was fine until I told the neuro that my headaches increase when I'm around cell phones, which is true. When I wouldn't answer some questions, he said that pappiladema has nothing to do with anything psychological. Basically, I think he might be sketchy.
I'm guessing he meant that your headaches/increase in headaches around cell phones may be psychosomatic (notice I said "may"). I'm not going to get into an argument debating sensitivity regarding wifi or cell phone signals.
I think he was trying to make clear that there seems to be a medical issue(i.e. whatever is causing the increased cranial pressure) behind the headaches. And that it needs to be checked out quickly as it could be something serious and the sooner it is checked, the better for your health.
Go get the results. Discuss them calmly with the neurologist. I doubt they would go through all this trouble (including using an MRI) to help your father get you locked up.

Scruffy I appreciate your bluntness. I will go in, but I'm not going to let them put me into some institution.
I'm going to bring someone with me to make sure nothing sketchy will happen.
Thanks, you've been helpful. I bet you are a really good doctor.

Look
you cant fix the problem when you dont know what it is, fact is these headaches have been bothering you. So you need to at least make more than a nominal attempt at discovery
It might turn out to be as simple as a reaction to unseasonably warm weather. It could be an allergy, People are allergic to weird things like the vibrations of a lawnmower, and yes the nickel in cell phones. Some people are even allergic to water or the sun... that would be a real problem..
Anyone who has an ongoing physical illness will eventually feel the stress and anxiety of not feeling right. That could take an emotional toll on anyone.
You're a curious women, use that curiosity to find out whats ailing you and live the live you want to live

Assuming you are being honest...
you need to go get the results of your MRI. Neurologist don't just take same day referrals from an eye doctor to see if you're crazy. he saw something behind your eyes, likely pressure on your optical nerve from swelling of the nerve or your brain. that's some serious shite.
your writing hints at touches of paranoia, also a possible side affect of whatever is going on with you medically. I think the first neurologist was questioning you that way to see how you would react. when you reacted exactly as he expected, he left so that you would chill out and have the next guy send you for the MRI.
You're not crazy but you could have a serious condition that requires medical treatment.
ps.. papilledema is a condition caused by swelling of the optical nerve or something else putting pressure on the optical nerve. there really is something wrong with your sight and they are concerned its a symptom of a bigger issue.

I've already had the MRI. Today is the day I get the results. But, I am concerned that I'll go in and end up getting hauled off somewhere.
The only person who would think this way is a person who needs to actually be hauled off somewhere.

Seems to me this is some ruse to get me into some mental ward. Advice?
I was going to say that their asking psych questions is standard of care. Looking into anxiety is no big deal and combined with headaches, real or not isn't going to get you commited to a psych hospital.
Then I read more, and you seem rather suspicious about those around you and their motives. That, even if it is some paranoia won't get you committed either. If you're not a danger to self or others, you're good. But, then I realized this is a rehtaeh/Yoga Girl alter, so maybe you should consider it.

I detect an opportunity for Scruffy to at least play doctor. For God's sake, put the stamps down.
