Still too young imo. NBA is a grown mans game and it takes years to really mature and peak as a professional player. Great, but I wouldn't say elite in the sense that he can dominate all phases against any matchup. 5 years or so from being on top of the league
Look how long it has taken harden, Westbrook, curry, Durant etc

word, didnt know if you were old (LCo/S Lafourche) or younger (his AAU teams). Buddies with one of his sons, all good people from that area lol.

AD is a great player but he is getting very overrated by almost everyone.
Worst thing that happened to NOLA fans was he Pelicans getting AD. They will never be good with him given the dysfunction in the front office and coaching levels.

That's moronic, the pelicans had some really good players, but have had horrible luck with injuries.

Pelicans are a poorly built team. Injuries are a part of the game. When your GM and coaches aren't even in agreement in what type of team you have and none of your pieces actually compliment one another, you are doomed.
Again, injuries suck, but they are not the reason the Pros have sucked 5 out of the last 6 years.

I sure hope that New Orleans can hold on to the Pelicans long term.
ADavis will leave at some point to contend for a championship. That hasn't worked out for Chris Paul.
I don't really understand how competent the Pelican's front office is as far as Basketball IQ is concerned. You guys know more than I do. It just seems like this organization can't build talent long term. IdK.
I love having the NBA in Louisiana though.
