Good. It's amazing how many judges and DA's don't want you to know about it.

I'm a big fan of jury nullification. After getting older and meeting some our state legislators here in LA, I don't think those self serving jack asses are any more qualified to decide someone's punishment than I am.

Title is misleading.
It only passed the NH House, and still has to go to the NH Senate. Last time this bill was considered it passed the House but died in the Senate.
I agree with the concept but NH is still a long way away from implementing it.

I thought we were all about enforcing the laws. If your guilty, you should be found guilty. Simple as that.

The stated goals of a prosecutor are to pursue justice. To do that he has to convince a jury. I don't think there's anything wrong with making a jury think the verdict is just.

I started a thread on justice this week, which went nowhere. Hopefully, this one does better.
And while it may be LEGAL to do a thing, it may not be right or just.

New Hampshire has the best state government of any place in the country.

Do I understand this correctly.
This is a bill to tell the jury that they can vote anyway they want? How fricking crazy is that! I guess people really are as stupid as I have been saying they are!
I have been dying to get on certain juries so I can vote not guilty when someone for example steals a flag that a flag burner was trying to burn etc. Or a father beats a guy for raping his daughter.
