ETA: why should he rush back to play teams that we'll beat without him. Although it's a different scenario, Fournette was rushed back onto the field and had lingering injuries all year.

An ankle for a running back vs a face for a baseball player. It's not an injury that continuing to play will hurt it worse or not allow it to heal. As long as he doesn't get hit or bumped in the face he should be fine. Every player has the same risk of getting hit in the face and being hurt.

Because he wants to play and improve his draft stock. Every at bat he misses is one less that he can use to increase his overall performance. Trust me, scouts are waiting to see what he can do this year before trusting him in the draft. They want to know his power is consistent

There is no reason to play him tomorrow night against a lefty that can't control his 96 MPH fastball and hit 13 batters last season.

my "expert opinion" says that leonard fournette will play catcher against airforce just in case they have a play at the plate, leonard can and will just level him.
