Our nation is deeply divided between diametrically opposed ideologies. The only long term recourse I see for reconciliation is a geopolitical division. Trump should withhold federal funding to sanctuary cities/states like California and support peaceful succession. It's time to move our separate ways before the division leads to chaos.

The division of the geographical US into balkanized 'nation states' is so problematic for either side, it is a virtual non-starter. It will have to be the Abraham Lincoln version...war...to keep the Union.

One thing is for sure; all things are measured by the basic strengths and weaknesses of their particular characteristics. LSU may have the co-best D in the land...but if our Q-back can't throw on the run with the option to run...we lose on one big play. We did.

While our Nation has many strengths...is has manifold and serious problems with large virtually dysfunctional populations...as such relates to the macro-economy. And that matters. A chain is only as strong as it weakest link.

I suspect there will be some sort of Natural process toward the re-imposition of character standards and strengths. Such monumental changes are proven cyclical in the historical record; read "The Fourth Turning" if you doubt it. Not rocket science. There are particular groups of individuals that are highly problematic and flat our injurious toward civil society. They will have to go, by whatever means. Mother Nature ultimately runs this show...not Donald Trump Traditionalists or the Progressive Movement.

Disagree completely. In fact, the opposite is closer to the truth. Our nation is united in its basic ideology. The path to those ideologies may be different, but the foundation is the same.
Granted the establishment would have you believe there is a great divide, but it's more propaganda for the purpose of divide and conquer, rather than truth.

We've been living in chaos for more than 100 years in this country. Sadly the sheople won't recognize it unless it's broadcast on MSM as BREAKING NEWS.
