It's not like they haven't had years to come up with a plan.

Both parties are owned by Big Insurance and Big Pharma. Obamacare is the best thing to ever happen to them. Why bite the hand that feeds you?

As for coming up with something more recently, Republicucks neither wanted nor expected Trump to win, so there was no reason to have a replacement plan ready to go. Now I'm sure they're working closely with Big Insurance and Big Pharma to figure out how to pass a new bill that will screw us and the government out of more money.

I am curious what the replacement will be. It seems like the push was to get rid of it entirely if necessary from the campaign promises. At least that was part of the rhetoric. But that is just so incredibly irresponsible to just grab the rug out from under so many people. It seems to me at least it would necessarily cause more harm than good. There is so much talk about what a failure it is, but I have heard very little actual supporting argument about what actually is so horrible about it and what people think an improvement would be. It's just this hot button issue that drums up the emotions and has become a witch hunt for the GOP.

I think that this is just an incredibly complicated issue with no clean solutions. The vast majority of people do not even begin to understand it. It's just an easily employed political tool because of how serious people's health is to them and the vast amount of money involved,

I think it has something to do with increased premiums and deductibles.

Because it's so intertwined with the system now you can't removed it like that.

It'll go but carefully

He talks big. Half his talk requires details he cant pay attention to. The replace part of repeal and replace is very difficult. Congress has to do the heavy lifting. He just said repeal without replace for 2 days. He was crucified and he corrected himself. Repeal and simultaneously replace. Write the bill.

If he didn't have a job, he'd be on Medicaid and the expansion wouldn't matter. The ACA helps the WORKING poor.

We are already being fricked by ACA. It doesn't work for the majority of Americans, but the people who do the right thing should all suffer because it was Obama's legacy right?

Still a lower cost than being uninsured and having to pay for a major procedure, wiping out everything you have.

How about we fix deductibles instead of rising insurance away from 20-30M Americans and killing 40,000 a year because of it?

All up to Republicans. At the end of the day they are stumped because they want to keep the pre-existing conditions clause but can't unless they keep everything else in place. Otherwise prices continue to shoot up.

Plus, at the end of the day, they didn't show any spine against Obama, so I doubt they decided to kick millions of people off their insurance and remove the pre-existing coverage.

Nope. It isn't going to happen.

Because working class are forced to buy a private product and subsidize the cost for other people.
