I actually think we'd see a drop in labor participation combined with higher paying jobs that involve either supervising the machines/computers or providing a human touch.

No, we're getting towards "the end of scarcity" theory. You won't need money because everybody's wants and desires will be fulfilled.

Of course, it's just a theory and lots of shite can happen between here and there, assuming "there" is attainable.

Theres a finite amount of land/real estate and wants and needs in those departments will be a resource eaten up quite quickly.
